A Bit of Background

After coming out a 14 year drug addiction; God graced Evangelist Beverly “Dee Dee” Trotter with a passion to help women to fulfill their dreams and ambitions.  Beverly and a couple of sisters founded a women’s personal development program called “Help a Sista’ Out Ministries” in 2005. The other two sisters left the state but with determination and God’s guidance Beverly has been teaching this program in women shelters and churches all over the twin cities. HASO Ministries was even afforded the opportunity to take “HASO Ministries into Waseca Women’s Prison to do weekly personal development training.

Often by the time we’ve hit bottom we feel like there is no better life for us, and Beverly found that that is so far from the truth.  That’s when God can really use us.  That is when He picks us up out of that dark place and finishes the purpose that He had planned for us all along.  We just need guidance to Him, spiritually as well as physically.

God has given Beverly a testimony that draws others to Christ. I Beverly, made a vow to the Lord that I would tell of His love for the rest of my days and I can’t take it back.

Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.  Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. Matt 11:28-30

Some of the things that HASO does in our community would be to quarterly visit at least one women's shelter where we have the opportunity to minister God's love. We give the ladies manis and pedis, makeovers, gently used clothes, shoes, feminie hygiene products, books etc... Anyway that the Lord gives us to show his love for these women. We are always in need of extra hands, feet and funds. If you are interested in coming along and joining the team; click on the button below.
